THE FINAL TALK

Each speaker will be given 12 minutes to present a summary of their project and three additional minutes for questions. The room will have a slide projector, overhead transparency projector, a computer with PowerPoint, VCR, and a blackboard. Presentations will take up most of the day so refreshments will be provided. It is a bit insulting to your fellow students to just show up for your own presentation so please plan on being there for the duration. There is usually a reception/celebration afterwards. Practice sessions will be possible prior to the date of the talks. The numbers of practices per student that the Coordinator can schedule may be limited. It would therefore be a very good idea for you to arrange some practices with your supervisors and peers.
