Four wishes are even #2
Hawlore solved the first problem in good time. The wizard clapped and said, "Wonderful, here is your second problem. My sister-in-law also gave me a birthday present. It is a puzzle. I can’t solve it. The problem is to place exactly 12 stones on a 6 x 6 grid so that there are two stones lying along each row, column, and diagonal. Only one stone can be placed in a square. Solve the puzzle for me and you get your wishes."
Hawlore whistled as he placed some stones and thought about what that did.
Hawlore solved the second problem in good time too.
The wizard granted him four wishes: one for rain, another for sunshine, the third for no grasshoppers, and the fourth for pigeons. Hawlore returned home to his village and watched the crops grow well. All of the villagers would get full stomachs this year.
