Six minutes later, Borbo grinned with glee. He gave Calder the right number of splots and put the star in his packsack. Then Borbo spotted the bala flower on the table. He asked, "Elver, what do you want for the bala flower?"
Elver replied, "I like yellow button head flowers and light blue crinkle flowers. Do you have any?"
Borbo said, "Yes I do. How many of each do you want for the bala flower?"
Elver pointed to another sign on the table, "This sign tells all. Figure it out."
Borbo stared at the sign and thought and thought and thought. At long last he gave Calder just what he wanted and put the bala flower gently in his packsack. Trading was good today.
