The rats of the Dungeon of Rot #2
Five minutes later, Thunderbard solved the first problem. The chain shortened and pulled the rat tight to the wall. Thunderbard crept by and reached the second rat. The controlling machine had ten squares cut into it, arranged in a 2 x 5 grid. Ten numbers: 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, made of cast iron, were lying in front of the machine.
Thunderbard opened up the second page of the book and read; "Place the ten numbers in the two rows so that the sum of the numbers of the top row subtract the sum of the numbers of the bottom row equals 100."
It was a tough problem even for Thunderbard but he had no choice. The king's daughter had to be rescued. He thought and he thought and he thought.
