Question 1
      (-2) x (-3) x (-1) x 2 = 6 x (-1) x 2 = (-6) x 2 = -12
Question 2
The multiplication results increase by 3 each time. The answer to (-3) x (-1) should be +3.
Question 3
The number line model involves taking steps of a certain size. A step is equivalent to a group and a group count MUST BE positive. For a questions such as (-4) x (-2), the first number (-4) is supposed to represent the group count. But, because -4 is negative, it cannot represent a group count. Therefore, it is not possible to take any steps on the number line.
