Texts
- Required: Quantum Field Theory by Mark Srednicki (pre-publication version available here)
- Suggested: David Tong's lecture notes
- Suggested: Sidney Coleman's lecture notes
- Suggested: Fields by Warren Siegel
- Suggested: Richard MacKenzie's path integral review
- Suggested: An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory by Peskin & Schroeder
It is very likely that readings from the suggested or other
texts will be required or suggested at some point.
Please note: we will use the "mostly plus" version of the Minkowski
spacetime metric, but some of these references use "mostly minus." Make
sure you pay attention to conventions.

Homework Assignments
Policies
Homework should be essentially completed by the course meeting on the due date. Each student will present their solution to a homework problem (or problems) during the course meeting. The solutions will then be due in the labeled drop box outside U of W room 2L26 (make sure to label them with your name and "QFT") by 23:59 that night. If you prefer, a PDF of the assignment prepared in LaTeX can be substituted for a hardcopy; email it to Dr. Frey by the deadline.
